About Us

Junge Produce is a small family-owned business located in Underwood, Iowa. Meet the owners Adam and Erin Junge.

We live on a family farm with our daughter Chloe, son Axel, our Shiba Inu dog Leo and lots of farm cats, chickens and honeybees. 

  Erin grew up on a farm in Emerson, Iowa and Adam’s family has a long history of farming, starting in east Omaha in 1890. Adam has continued that tradition and started farming at our current location between Council Bluffs and Underwood in 2019.

We grow a wide variety of vegetables as well as some fruit, bedding plants, hanging baskets, mums, Fall decor, local honey and eggs depending on availability. You can also find some canned goods at the on-farm market like salsa, pickled beets, jams and jellies throughout the season.

We currently grow on the five acres at our home and have an additional four acres at a farm just down the road. We avoid spraying herbicides and use organic pest control for most crops.

We have an on-farm market on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays starting in May through October each year. We also sell at the Underwood Farmers Market, Treynor Farmers Market, Council Bluffs Farmers Market, and Florence Mill Farmers Market in Omaha.

Our goal is to deliver the healthiest and best tasting products for our family and to the people of this amazing community!
